“Nude with stretched arms” bronze edition of 9

This is a piece that was quite complex to sculpt. As you can see there is lots of detail within the stretched arms and legs which makes for an interesting sculpture. The dynamic of the piece centres around the curved spine which I have sculpted in an exaggerated contemporary style.

With the head between the arms this piece has a lot of emotional character.

I was very pleased with the overall piece as it was very complicated to cast at the foundry. This bronze is very substantial and heavy.
